Tyn Y Ffordd

Gwynedd

The Mawddwy Valley sits at the heart of walking country. Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy rise nearby for serious hill days, while Dolgellau and Machynlleth—both proper market towns with independent shops and restaurants—are close enough for a morning or afternoon trip. The Dyfi Osprey Centre, King Arthur's Labyrinth, the Centre for Alternative Technology and Coed Y Brenin's mountain biking trails all lie within reasonable reach, as does Zip World further north. The coast at Aberdovey and Barmouth is an hour or so away for a seaside change of pace.

Tyn Y Ffordd is a three-bedroom cottage sleeping six, laid out over two floors with a separate games room on the ground floor—table tennis, table football, darts and toys for rainy days. The main living space has a wood burner and smart TV; the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a dishwasher, induction hob and electric oven. Bedrooms include a kingsize with its own shower room upstairs, a double and two singles downstairs. Two bathrooms serve the property. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and superfast broadband are included, along with heating and wood for the burner. There's parking for two cars, a bike store, and an enclosed garden with a patio, furniture and fire pit (logs available to purchase). The shop is three miles away, and a pub or restaurant two miles. No smoking throughout.
