What visitors say
What can I say , all be it a fantastic reserve with such a wide variety of birds. A great experience on one reserve that has been on my bucket list to visit for a very long time. Please visit and support the RSPB who do such a magnificent job in maintaining this pristine site for wildlife.

RSPB Minsmere is an absolutely wonderful place to visit, especially if you love nature and wildlife. From the moment you arrive, there’s a real sense of calm and connection to the outdoors. The reserve is beautifully maintained, with a great variety of habitats from reedbeds and wetlands to heathland and coastal views which makes every walk feel different and exciting. It’s also really convenient that if you forget your binoculars, you can hire a pair on-site, so you won’t miss any of the action.

Minsmere is probably one of the best RSPB sites if not the best I have visited to date. It's home to all kinds of habitats, and all the wildlife to go with it. The scrapes are home to a ton of Avocets at the right time of year, and the reed beds are the perfect place to spot Bitterns. The cafe and shop are really well maintained, and a good size, which is great considering how busy it got whilst we were there. The car park can accommodate plenty but I would recommend arriving early for the best parking and the best spotting. To top it off, the team were extremely friendly, professional and well versed in the local habitat. Will definitely be returning here to see what the different seasons bring.
