About High Moor Farm Park
High Moor Farm Park is a substantial touring park on the A59, four miles west of Harrogate towards the Yorkshire Dales, with 255 pitches screened by mature woodland alongside static holiday homes. Facilities are unusually comprehensive: there's an indoor pool, a licensed bar serving food, a nine-hole golf course, a games room, children's play area and coarse fishing lake, plus the expected shower blocks, launderette and shop. Dogs are welcome throughout, and disabled access is provided across the site.
The location works well for splitting time between Harrogate's tearooms, Turkish Baths and Victorian gardens and the western edge of the Dales National Park. Some visitors note that parts of the park can feel a little tired and maintenance standards vary, but the sheer range of on-site amenities makes it a practical choice for longer stays or families wanting entertainment close to base. Its scale and resort-style extras suit those after a settled, all-weather stopover within easy reach of both town and countryside.

This is a fabulous site have been going over 20 years children grown up now and taking their children. The site is clean the staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble for them. The showers have been upgraded this year and their is no longer a charge for use of them. They have upgraded their kitchen and the meals are fabulous. We have never had a bad one in all the time we have been going to the site. Looking forward to seeing everyone again on August bank holiday weekend.

My wife and myself visited this site to see my daughter, son in law and grandchildren. When we actually got to their caravan we found the entrance to the caravan and awning were extremely mudded and it was been trodden everywhere. My son in law had infact been to see about it, he had offered to flag the area effected if the site provided the flags. He had actually already bought the cement which would be required to complete the job, at no expense to the owners of the site to all he wanted was several done flags. The site is only 50% full and the majority of pitches were empty and there was plenty of spare flagstones available. My son in law was told he had to provide his own flags and was advised to go to B&Q. The receptionist was very rude. In the end my daughter left the site. It's a shame it's in a lovely location but unfortunately it's run down and it's certainly not fit for purpose

This was our first own touring caravan experience so just did the one night to practice manoeuvring, hooking up etc. We were so disappointed by the customer service at the reception and in the bar. This facility is not children friends at all or should I say the staff are not. The staff never used please or thank you once and was very rude to us and our children who were also not allowed to have any fun in the bar prior to 8pm. We will not be returning to this site which is disappointment as it was a perfect location for us being on the military camp 5 minutes away and hoping to use this facility regular whilst the husband is in Afghanistan. Shame as the swimming pool was good but that was about it!
