RSC Garden Harlow Carr is an attraction that is worth the entry fee, I recommend to anyone who loves well maintained gardens with a great map of things to see and plenty for kids to do. We took an uber in to save on entrance fee which was a great gesture on this attraction’s part (otherwise I believe parking is free). I took my mum who struggles to walk, there are lots of benches to sit and rest as needed. My two teen boys also, they enjoyed the map reading and getting us from A to B. I personally liked the bird hide; lots of our feathered friends gathering food, a squirrel and a mouse and also the pillars and the troll at the bridge. There were Lego sculptures and lovely gardens and cacti. Plenty of picnic areas, well kept paths, information boards and little placards that told people what they were looking at. Loved this place, staff and groundskeeper were great too.

Gorgeous afternoon at the gardens. Not too big to explore all the areas. Immaculate gardens and landscape. A perfect place to unwind and escape. Reduced entrance fee if on foot. I walked from Valley Gardens in Harrogate to the gardens along the woodland path that's sign posted , in Valley Gardens. Play areas for children including a beautiful tree house. Lots of places to sit and have picnic too.

A wonderful garden to wander around and contemplate life whilst wondering why your garden never seems to look so much perfect (if you happen to have one). This is an established garden that was added to the RHS portfolio of gardens, possibly to stop them from being such a southern based organisation. Whatever the reason, this is a lovely, mature garden to visit with a lovely arboretum and lots of imaginative planting. There is a Betty’s tearoom at the entrance but you can’t access it from within the gardens, so think about that when visiting. There is a pub, gallery and garden centre contained within the gardens. Well worth a visit. RHS members get in free with a guest, so membership is worth considering if you live near enough and want to visit a lot.

We had a lovely day out. I took my mum who at present has to use a wheelchair. I was a bit apprehensive as we had to park in car park 3 but the walk to the gardens was pleasant and access for a wheelchair is good. The gardens themselves are beautiful with many different areas to visit. We also enjoyed looking at the Lego models. Not many places to choose from to eat. Betty's is lovely but very expensive and the queue was long. But on the whole, a lovely day out. ❤️
