About Premier Inn Harrogate Town Centre
Walk into a room at Premier Inn Harrogate Town Centre and you'll find an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and a comfortable bed, with drinks available in room for those who want to settle in without going far. There are 107 rooms across five floors, including accessible options, and a lift serves all levels. Rooms are generally kept clean and spacious, though standards can vary and a small number have been reported as less well maintained than others.

Breakfast is a particular highlight, and the staff are consistently described as helpful and friendly. Parking is available nearby for a charge, useful given the town centre setting.

Stayed here all last week for work. It’s a bit sad how Premier Inn has cut the quality of service to save money. My room (323) was clean, quiet and comfortable, but the bathroom had evidence of mould in the corner of the ceiling and the shower curtain rail wasn’t fixed to the wall properly. The soap bottle pump didn’t fit in the dispenser and was a pain to get soap out of and toilet tissue was almost nonexistent. There was also no complimentary coffee in the room. Food and drink-wise, the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. My only criticism in the bar, was that there was no draught beer. Choices were limited to 1 type of bottled ale and canned Guinness. There was however umpteen options of lager. Not for me I’m afraid. Parking is a bit of a pain. The only option is to pay the extortionate cost of the nearby multi-story (£20 for overnight), then walk up and down the extremely steep driveway to the hotel. The unfit or elderly should take note. Premier Inn used to be the go to places for our company to use for working off site, but other options will be looked at in future.

Arrived paying extra for10am access. Not a twin room as requested, in a dark dingy hotel location, car park ramp outside window. Had to tell Manager it wasn't as booked. He said he'd missed the twin booking, and this room was to meet the early access. Hardly believable. The 3rd floor room originally designated (?) wouldn't be ready til 3pm. So we had to leave luggage and wander about town until 3pm. Then when in room, found out the hotel restaurant wasn't open, so had to book restaurant in town. Totally exhausted by bedtime. Ruined start to 3 night stay. Breakfast okay but cooked food could have been more hot. Staff polite. Decor shabby. Wouldn't recommend based on our experience.

I booked this hotel without reading the reviews so when I did read them I was a little anxious.we parked in the convention centre car park 2 which cost £40 for 72 hours .reception area was bright and clean and although you have self check in ,a friendly member of staff checked us in and helped us with directions to various attractions . We booked a premier plus room .the room was bright and very clean with a lovely view overlooking the beautiful majestic hotel and gardens .the bathroom was very clean with hand wash and shower gel and towels were soft and fluffy .the bed was super comfy and the air con was welcome during the recent heat wave. The room fridge was very tiny but better than not having one . The Turkish baths and bettys tea room are close by ,just a few minutes walk

I always chose a Premier Inn over a Travelodge however it might not have been the best choice this time. Reception staff were very welcoming and friendly, after that its downhill all the way. Housekeeping need retraining or sacking. Bathroom floor was dirty, there was a shirt button on it, no pillow protector on one pillow, carpet in the hallway looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum in a few weeks. We asked Reception to have our room made up, they left two new bath towels, no hand towels or bath mat, replaced the tea cups and totally ignored the bed, they didn't touch it. Crazy. The rooms are very tired, it badly needs renovating. The bathroom extractor fan didn't work. I wouldn't stay here again until management step up and manage their housekeeping and renovate it. Shame as its ideally situated for town.
