About Hillside Cottage

Horse Road sits on the edge of Ledbury, with Herefordshire's countryside rolling out beyond the garden at Hillside Cottage. It's an adults-only B&B built for a quiet break, with views over the garden and surrounding fields that set the tone for a relaxed stay away from the town centre.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks provided, and breakfast is included each morning, with a packed lunch available for anyone heading out to explore. There's a garden and picnic area for sitting outside, plus outdoor seating for taking in the views, and reception is staffed around the clock. An electric vehicle charge point and free on-site parking are both available, along with free WiFi throughout.

The area is well suited to walking and cycling, with pubs, restaurants and other places to eat all within reach nearby, and entertainment options close by too. It's a straightforward base for exploring Ledbury and the Herefordshire countryside on foot, by bike, or simply from the garden.

We booked Hillside Cottage for 2 nights while we attended the Royal Three Counties Show. Located in a lovely quiet lane, with outstanding views across the hills and valleys. Pauline and John made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely and clean with an ensuite loo, with shower room across the hall. The bed was very comfortable, and there was hanging space should you need it. Tea and Coffee making facilities. Each morning Pauline gave us a fantastic breakfast, comprising yogurt and fresh fruit, cereals, toast, Full English plus juice and tea or coffee. Absolutely delicious, comparable with a five star hotel breakfast. We had a very relaxing stay, and really didn't wasn't to go home. Will definitely stay again. Cant recommend enough.

Fantastic stay at Hillside Cottage. Room was clean, quiet and well maintained. Bed was super comfy and a great night's sleep. Pauline and her husband were very friendly and helpful, giving us advice on the area. All the facilities you could expect were available as well as little treats to have with a coffee/tea. The house feels like a home away from home, with lovely lounge and large green garden. Breakfast was generous, there was cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, spreads, coffee and a full cooked breakfast prepared to your request. There is also a lovely pub a few minutes walk away with great, reasonably priced food. Could not have had a nicer time. Highly Recommended. I should mention that if you want to stay and it appears booked up, give the hosts a call just to check, they'll be happy to advise.

Stayed with Pauline and John over the Malvern festival. Had a wonderful weekend, and could not fault the very kind hospitality afforded. Lovely room,v ery hearty breakfast, and just a wonderful few days. Nothing too much trouble for the lovely hosts, and make for a very enjoyable weekend. Thank you so much for a very comfortable stay, and will definitely be returning. This experience is by far and away the benchmark to which superior guesthouses should aspire to.
