National Trust member visit. Fairly local to where we live so decided to go with our little one. Inside is really nice with some helpful staff to tell you about certain rooms etc. there is a lovely little cafe on entry with toilets. The grounds outside are absolutely beautiful and really enjoyed our visit. The car park is quite small but we managed to get a park at 12pm (all about timing I guess) and there are some disabled parks at the front for people with blue badges.

A 500 yer old manor house and garden that is not too busy but with plenty to keep you interested whether adult or child. Authentic building styles with a long history brought to life by enthusiastic volunteer guide make this a good visit no matter what your interests. Good food if you need a meal or a snack. Colourful in the spring I am looking forward to revisiting in the Autumn.
