Carrbridge sits on a quiet stretch in the Cairngorms National Park, surrounded by the kind of landscape that rewards exploring. The village has a couple of cafés, bars and restaurants; an 18-hole golf course; and woodland walks that start almost on the doorstep. The Old Pack Horse Bridge lies nearby. Battanropie Lodge is a detached house set back from the road, with its own enclosed grounds where a garden runs down towards the river.
The property sleeps six across three bedrooms: a double with an ensuite on the first floor, a second double, and a twin room. Two bathrooms serve the rest of the space. Downstairs is an open-plan living area with a 43" smart TV and Freesat, a kitchen fitted with an Aga and separate oven, and a utility room with washer-dryer. There's also a ground-floor toilet. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The enclosed garden has a patio, seating and enough lawn for dogs to roam freely; parking fits three cars. One dog is welcome. No smoking.
