🏡 Self-Catering Cottage

Beith

Built as a solid semi-detached property, Beith sits on Skye's north coast with commanding views across The Minch towards Harris, Lewis and the Shiants Islands. The whole cottage is on a single level, making it straightforward to navigate. Two bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with two singles—connect to a shower room, while the living and dining space opens to a kitchen with everything needed for self-catering: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge. An electric fire warms the main room on cooler evenings, and wi-fi keeps you connected. Bed linen and towels arrive fresh; heating and electricity are covered in the rate. Two parking spaces sit on the drive.

Uig, the working ferry port just down the road, is where ferries leave for the Outer Isles and St Kilda. You can watch fishing boats and island traffic without leaving the harbour, and local shops, a pub, restaurants and a brewery cluster nearby. The Whitewave Activity Centre and Duntulm Castle are short drives away. Beyond the immediate area, the island holds the Quiraing's dramatic slopes, the Faerie Glen's strange rock formations, Staffin Museum's fossil collections and distilleries to explore. No smoking is permitted inside.
