Fourpenny Studio is a ground-floor cottage that opens into a compact living space arranged for ease and comfort. The sitting room has a television and electric fire; the kitchen and dining area flow together with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine; the bedroom holds a kingsize bed with its own television; and the bathroom is an ensuite with a cubicle shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, and one car can park on site. There is a shared garden area with seating, and the property accommodates one pet at no extra charge.

The location delivers what matters: a hamlet setting with fields stretching to sea views in the distance, and sand and shore within a ten-minute walk. Skelbo sits a few miles from the North Coast 500 route but close enough to Dornoch for restaurants, shops and the famous golf course there. The immediate surroundings offer woodland walks through Fourpenny Woods, the sand dunes at Coul Links, and the expanse of Embo Sands—all reachable without a car. Dornoch itself has a rich history and another beach, while other golf courses lie nearby at Tain, Golspie and Brora. From here, the north-east coastal villages towards John O'Groats are easily visited, as are the interior routes across the Highlands to the north and west coasts. No smoking is permitted in the property.
