Honeysuckle Cottage
Highland
Honeysuckle Cottage is a semi-detached stone building on a farmstead with sheep and cattle, looking out across open countryside toward the coast. The property sleeps four across two bedrooms—a king and a double—with a shower room on the ground floor and a combined living and dining space warmed by a woodburner. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and washer-dryer, so self-catering here is straightforward.
Golspie lies a mile north, a small town with a supermarket, restaurants, a sandy beach and golf course, plus a railway station for journeys to Inverness or the far north. Brora, further along the coast, has another championship course and more substantial beaches. The immediate area suits walkers, with trails direct from the cottage, as well as fishers, kayakers and mountain bikers. Dunrobin Castle, the seat of the Dukes of Sutherland, sits nearby; the North Coast 500 scenic drive starts close by. Electricity, wifi, bed linen, towels and initial woodburner logs are included. The cottage does not accommodate children under six.
