Rose Cottage
Highland
Rose Cottage is a traditional stone cottage built into a working farm in the heart of Sutherland. The two-bedroom property sleeps four and comes with a wood burner, electric heating, and all the essentials including wifi and linen. A welcome pack is provided, along with initial logs for the fire.
The ground floor has a living and dining space, a kitchen equipped for self-catering with an oven, hob, dishwasher and washer-dryer, and a shower room. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and one with a double. You have your own entrance, parking for two cars, and a patio with garden furniture. The cottage is no-smoking throughout.
Golspie is a mile north—a working seaside town with shops, restaurants, pubs and a train station with routes to Inverness and far north. Dunrobin Castle is there too, along with beaches, a golf course and a distillery. The property sits just metres from the North Coast 500, making it an ideal base for exploring dramatic coastline. Loch Fleet Nature Reserve, Ben Bhraggie, and various walking and mountain-biking trails are all close by. Local activities include golf, fishing, sailing, paddle-boarding and hill-walking.
