Strathspey Lodge

This detached lodge was built to feel both contemporary and rooted in its Highland setting. Inside, the open-plan layout combines modern comfort with locally sourced artwork and bespoke furnishings, creating spaces where families or groups of eight can spread out without feeling cramped. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms mean everyone has their own space, while wifi, heating and electricity are all included. One well-behaved pet can stay free. The property is non-smoking.

Strathspey Lodge sits in Duthil, a small hamlet within Cairngorms National Park near Carrbridge. The village itself, just over a mile away, has the Landmark Forest Adventure Park, cafes, a pub, and local shops selling crafts and gifts. Aviemore—the park's year-round hub for outdoor activities—is 15 minutes' drive north. The area draws walkers, cyclists, and those interested in fishing or watersports on the nearby lochs; in winter, skiing is available. A steam railway, reindeer centre, and wildlife park are all within reach. Golf courses dot the region, and the MacDonald Country Club just up the road welcomes visitors to its leisure facilities. On-site parking is available, and check-in is after 16:00.
