Sunnyside House
Highland
The hot tub at Sunnyside House accommodates six and comes with robes for afterwards—a concrete detail that hints at the wider comfort level throughout this three-bedroom property in the Highlands. Ground-floor living means no stairs to navigate; the main room has a 55-inch smart TV, woodburner and space to spread out, while the kitchen opens to a patio and garden through double doors. Entertainment stretches to a games room equipped with pool table, table tennis and dartboard, plus books and games scattered through the conservatory.
Bedrooms sleep eight in total: a super-king ensuite with its own 50-inch TV, a second kingsize bedroom, and a third with bunks suited to children. Two bathrooms and a shower room mean mornings are manageable. The enclosed lawned garden has a firepit and barbecue; one dog stays free and is welcome as long as it remains on a lead—sheep country demands it. Five cars fit in the parking area. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen, towels and initial firewood are all included, along with a travel cot and highchair if needed.
Carrbridge village is roughly a mile away; Aviemore and the Cairngorms National Park lie eleven miles south. The setting is quiet, with views across the grounds towards the Cairngorm range. No smoking indoors.
