Carrbridge lies two miles away with its ancient stone bridge, cafés, pub and restaurant, plus an adjacent pine forest where walking trails wind through trees old enough to have stood for centuries. The adventure park there appeals to families. Red squirrels, deer and numerous birds move through the 4-acre private woodland surrounding The Glebe itself—an 18th-century detached house that once served as both an ecclesiastical building and a girls' school. Parking for four cars sits on the drive.
The layout spreads across two floors. Ground level holds a boot room, a large dining room with views into the woodland, a farmhouse kitchen opening into it, two bedrooms and a separate toilet. The master bedroom features a stone fireplace that spans an entire wall; the second bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite shower room. Upstairs, a substantial living room with another full-width fireplace provides a gathering space. Three further bedrooms occupy this floor: a twin with large en-suite bathroom, a double with en-suite (accessible from the hallway too), and a single room. Three bathrooms in total serve the five bedrooms.
Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property is yours alone—no shared spaces or other guests. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
