The Old Lock House Apartments - Lock View

The Old Lock House Apartments - Lock View is a first-floor flat in Fort Augustus overlooking the Caledonian Canal locks. You enter into a combined living and dining space with an open fire, Freeview TV and sofa bed. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric cooker, dishwasher and washer-dryer. One bedroom has a king bed, the other has bunks; there is one bathroom with a bath and shower. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided, along with heating and initial firewood. The rear garden has a sitting area with furniture and a barbecue, though it slopes significantly.

Fort Augustus sits at the southern tip of Loch Ness on the Great Glen Way. The village has a pub and restaurant within yards of the apartment, and a shop nearby. From here you can explore Loch Ness, the surrounding Highlands, or make day trips to Fort William, Inverness or the Isle of Skye. Water sports, hill walking, mountain biking and boat trips are all accessible locally. Parking for one car is on site. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted.
