Another Excellent Stay at Gatwick Airport Travelodge This was my 7th visit to the Gatwick Airport Travelodge, and once again it delivered a genuinely great experience. Caroline and the front desk team were outstanding — friendly, efficient, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Their professionalism really sets the tone for the stay. The car park normally has a charge, but on this visit the ANPR camera system was out of order, so I didn’t have to pay — a nice unexpected bonus. I stayed on the 6th floor in a family room, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I even spotted the robot cleaner doing its rounds in the corridor — a fun touch and shows how modern the hotel is becoming. Inside the room, the coffee machine and air‑conditioning were absolute lifesavers, especially after a long day of travel. Everything worked perfectly. Breakfast was another highlight. The breakfast team were very professional, and the food quality was consistently good — a great start to the day. After seven stays, I can confidently say this hotel keeps its standards high. Highly recommended.

The room is amazingly clean, the bed is comfortable, and the sheets are very good. The wet room is absolutely amazing. A kettle, tea, coffee, and water were on the table. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful, and Elizabeth was lovely and very helpful. The meal took a lot longer—a 45-minute wait—but it was very busy. Breakfast this morning: the scrambled eggs were amazing, tomatoes were done really well, as were the vegetarian sausages, so all was good. I would definitely stay here again. Well done to all at the Travelodge Gatwick Airport 5🌟

The room is spacious and great with aircondition. But thats where the good ends. Bed super hard and no power in the shower and payable wifi. The staff was moody and not friendly at all. Not a hi, good morning or how was your stay at checking out. It seemed like us guest almost was a burden for them. And breakfast was horrible , poor selection and when it finally was added new portions of hot food it was not eatble. And the Lady at breakfast did not like her job. Budget hotel with under budget friendly staff and food.

We had a lovely stay at Travelodge Gatwick on 18/05/26 and would definitely return. The room was really spacious, which made a big difference, and the beds were very comfortable, giving us a great night's sleep before travelling. Everything was spotlessly clean and well looked after. The air conditioning in the room was amazing, especially as it kept the room nice and cool and comfortable. We were also really pleased that free parking was available with a Blue Badge, which was a great help. What really stood out though was the staff. They were absolutely phenomenal and could not do enough for us throughout our stay. They were friendly, helpful and made us feel genuinely welcome. A great experience all round. The only small bits of feedback we would give are around a couple of room extras. The toilet roll could definitely be a little thicker as it was not the best quality, and while cups were provided in the room, it would be a nice touch to also have some glasses or tumblers available. These are only minor things though and certainly would not stop us returning.
