Adventure Valley

Adventure Valley is a really fun family day out in Durham, especially if you are visiting with kids. I came here with 2 children and they both had a great time from start to finish. There was plenty to keep them busy, and what I liked most was that once you are inside, a lot of the rides, play areas, and activities are included, so it feels like good value for a full day out. The place is known for offering lots of indoor and outdoor attractions, family rides, and animal areas all in one location. We bought our tickets on the spot and also called before coming to check availability, which was helpful. In my opinion, same-day booking can be a smart option when the weather looks uncertain, because some outdoor attractions may depend on weather conditions. Adventure Valley itself notes that certain outdoor attractions may not operate if the weather is poor. The kids really enjoyed the different rides and activities, and we especially liked the tractor ride and the small bike rides. It was also nice to see animals as part of the visit, which adds more variety for children and makes the day feel more complete. Adventure Valley highlights family rides, animal encounters, and a wide range of activities for different ages, which matched our experience well. Overall, I would say it is a bit expensive at first, but it feels worth it because there is so much included and the children stay entertained for hours. The place was clean, well-maintained, and enjoyable in good weather. I would definitely recommend it to families looking for a fun and active day out near Durham.

Very adventurous for children. My 4y old loved it. Bring some pound coins for some extra adventures. ;) There is a "restaurant", but it's very basic and honestly... not really good. But the park itself is a great day out.

Quite a lovely experience to be honest. Great Indoor and outdoor activities for kids. Can easily spend a few hours here and tire out your kids. Recommended to look at the activity timing/map at reception as few activities are done only once every few hours. Free parking and clean toilets. Ice cream van and face painting to elevate your experience Recommended age 3 till 10

Plenty to do. Me and my kids visited here in feb. The weather was not too good, but there was still plenty to do. Tractor ride, groom the pony, feed the animals, soft play and lots of parks
