My family of 2 adults, 1 senior and 1 teen stayed for one night in a family room with bunk beds. The room was a nice size and super cute. The self check-in process was easy and the owners provided detailed directions via email before our stay. The whole place was super cozy and cute. Very close walking distance to the city center. Would definitely stay again!

Aye stay is a gem in the beautiful city of Inverness. It was our family’s favorite stay on our recent trip to the UK. The hotel is quaint and filled with special touches throughout. It felt cozy and personal with beautifully decorated spots to read or eat! We loved the family room bunk beds and highland decor. Everything was clearly prepared with great care and attention to detail. Whenever we can return to Inverness we will look forward to a repeat visit to Aye Stay!!

NO BREAKFAST. After we checked in, we discovered that they have removed breakfast from their service. No communication to us about this policy change in the months since we booked, nor any amendment to the price we payed. Extremely frustrating, as this is the reason we booked this place. Be warned, they are still listed as a “bed & breakfast” in AI summaries and on some travel sites. Minus 2.5 stars because we only received half of what we paid for. The room was fine, but not worth the price in my opinion. Bed was comfy, but we booked a king and it was definitely smaller than that. Bathroom was very small—my wife burned herself on the towel heater that was co-occupying space with the toilet. Room was clean. The place was cute and had ample charm. Self check-in was easy. Location was fantastic, walkable to downtown. If you’re looking for charm for a price, you’ll like this place. If you’re traveling abroad and looking for comfort and peace of mind, look elsewhere.

Rooms were as described. Although you used codes and self serve access ,the room was equipped with necessary items and brochures with necessary information. Location near all restaurants and shops with a beautiful walk along the river. The guesthouse had game room and quieter reading space. The surrounding homes were well maintained. Quaint decor. Quite inviting.
