Stayed at the hotel upstairs & popped down for dinner after a long day of traveling and I was blown away — best meal I’ve had since I’ve arrived in Scotland. The steak & ale stew was INCREDIBLE, the soup of the day (cauliflower & parm) was delish, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert was the perfect touch. My brother also really enjoyed the fish & chips. The drinks were also delightful. The service was great, everyone was super friendly & attentive. I also loved the live music! 10/10

Amazing food and lovely vibe!! It feels very cozy inside and the staff are super kind and attentive. I ordered the pork belly and it was great! Loved the onion rings as well.

We stopped here for an early dinner and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the pub. They had a roast beef special that came with 5 sides for 18.95, so we both tried it. The yorkshire pudding was very good, and the carrots were good. However, the roast beef was fine, but my grandson had some tougher pieces. Overall the service and ambiance were very good and for the price we paid the food was good.
