What guests say
I wish I could give this hotel 10-stars! The staff is absolutely outstanding. They truly understand the meaning of hospitality and went above and beyond to accommodate my family. The hotel itself, including the room, is impeccably clean and very nicely upgraded. I can not thank the staff sufficiently and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Inverness.

We always stay at the River Ness Hotel when we’re in Inverness and it never disappoints. The staff are absolutely amazing - so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. It’s easily the most consistently excellent customer service I’ve experienced anywhere. The rooms are always spotless, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and it’s close to everything in town. A truly reliable, high-quality stay every time. Highly recommend.

Booked 4 nights. The room was soooo good and bed was comfortable. Paid for breakfast which was good, though not plentiful and you felt you had to watch what you put on your plate for worry not enough cooked breakfast for everyone else. What really upset me me as a lone traveller that no information or menus where shown that food was available for evening meals, nor told about any evening bar. I only witnessed a loan diner on my last night. There is no information in the rooms about facilities that normal hotels have. This meant that as a lone person I had to venture out into Inverness during the evening, when I really wanted to just eat in the hotel. I loved the rooms, but am now so disappointed that staff did not explain or promote facilities...the impression is that it was beneath the staff to inform of the hotel facilities. Based on what I spent outside of the hotel, they missed out on my custom by quite a few hundred pounds! Would I recommend...then I'd now recommend stay for lovely rooms only.

My wife and I had a lovely stay here for our babymoon. The staff were really friendly, and there was a member of staff who went above and beyond to make sure our trip was extra special.
