Strome Lodge

Absolutely loved it! Our room, breakfast, the house…we loved it! Owners are so friendly and they also have a cute dog :) truly recommend this place, it’s also quite near the Inverness centre. Thank you so much, it was a lovely stay!

Strome Lodge is a beautiful guesthouse about a 10 minute walk from the river and city centre. The owners are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. They gave us lots of tips for the surrounding area and good recommendations for restaurants and pubs. Our room was very clean and comfortable with the addition of chilled water, fresh milk and some lovely homemade shortbread which we really appreciated. The breakfast was great too. We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting Inverness.

Staying at Strome Lodge in Inverness was a joy! Every aspect of our room and stay was thoughtful and comforting. We were welcomed in with a warm cup of tea, an amazingly comfortable bed, and a beautiful view of a quiet street just steps away from the main streets of Inverness. The room was clean, well-stocked, and our host even provided us with a list of recommended local restaurants/bars. Our host, Marian, also made us a lovely full English breakfast the following morning which was much appreciated given we were heading off for a long day-trip to the Isle of Skye. I could not recommend this B&B any more, and I know I'll be back the next time I'm in Inverness :)

We've stayed in a lot of hostels, hotels and bnb's variations and this is without consideration one of the best accommodations so far. Cozy atmosphere, nice neighborhood, great beds, even greater hosts, delightful breakfast and a lovely dog. A strong recommendation for the true Inverness experience.
