The sea is a short walk away, and Ryde—with its sandy beach, independent shops, restaurants and cafés—sits 4 miles down the road. Bodwen Corner Cottage itself occupies the ground floor of a Victorian house set within a 9-acre estate on the Isle of Wight. You get 1½ acres of private garden to yourselves, plus parking for two cars and direct access to shared grounds where red squirrels are known to appear.
The layout is open plan: a combined kitchen and dining area with doors onto the patio, a separate living room, and three bedrooms split between a double with an ensuite shower and two pairs of single beds. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over it. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer are all there. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included in your stay. The garden has a sitting area, children's play space, and an outdoor tap for rinsing off boots and bikes. There's also a dedicated outdoor room called The Drey, stocked with games and craft supplies for children.
This is a no-smoking property. It suits families and small groups of up to six people. Check-in is after 3pm and checkout before 10am.
