Wootton Creek defines this stretch of the Isle of Wight coast, where Kipper Cottage sits on a quiet country road with direct views across the water. The cottage is yours alone, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping four. Both bedrooms have French doors or patio doors opening onto the garden; one has a king bed with an ensuite shower, the other two singles with an ensuite bath and shower.
The ground-floor living space is open plan, with a kitchen that has an electric oven, hob, microwave and washing machine—everything you need to cook properly. The sitting area has a woodburner, a television and patio doors that lead straight out to the garden. That garden is the real draw: a large lawn with decked sitting area, garden furniture, a summer house, a gas barbecue, a small jetty and a slipway down to the creek. You get parking for two cars on site. Wifi, bed linen, towels and electricity are included. The property does not allow smoking.
The local beach is within walking distance. Firestone Copse, nearby, has trails through woodland and alongside water. The Isle of Wight Steam Railway runs vintage trains from Wootton to Havenstreet, and Ryde's Victorian seafront is a short drive away.
