Viking opens directly onto an open-plan living space finished in contemporary style. Ground-floor living and dining areas flow into each other, with the kitchen set back behind a breakfast bar and island. Large bi-fold doors lead straight out to the garden, where south-facing views stretch across the countryside. The dining table seats eight. All the essentials are included: wifi, bed linen, towels and heating.

The four bedrooms spread across two floors. Downstairs, two flexible beds can be configured as superking or single beds depending on your group. One has its own ensuite; the other shares a shower room with a ground-floor bedroom. Upstairs, two further kingsize rooms access another shower room. All three bathrooms have walk-in showers. The property sleeps eight and is yours alone—you can also book it with the seven adjoining cottages if you're a larger group. Dogs stay free, and there is private parking for three cars.

The house stands in Newport East, close enough to walk or cycle to Newport itself. Ryde seafront is about ten minutes' drive; the Isle of Wight's attractions, from coastal paths to cycle routes and water sports, are all within easy reach. There is no smoking inside.
