Families and groups of up to six will find New Breezes works well for a self-catering break on the Isle of Wight. Everything you need to settle in—electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels—is covered.

The real draw is outside: a sunken hot tub for six in the private back garden, plus patio seating and space to relax. There's parking for two cars. Ryde's sandy beach is within reach for long walks or swimming, and the town has shops, pubs and restaurants. The island's bigger attractions—Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle, Shanklin, Ventnor and The Needles—are all accessible for day trips. Woodland trails and coastal paths suit those who want quieter time. One pet is welcome. The property is non-smoking.
