Isle of Wight
View on Google MapsPhoto: Roebeck Country Park
Ryde sits on the Isle of Wight's east coast with sandy beaches, a traditional pier, and a busy promenade of cafés and shops. Roebeck Cabin is positioned between the town and quieter woodland, so you get both. The setting works for families wanting easy beach access, couples after coastal walks, or anyone using Ryde as a base to explore further afield—historic sites, countryside, or the dramatic cliffs near Ventnor are all reachable by car.
Everything is on the ground floor: two bedrooms (one double with ensuite shower, one twin), a full bathroom, and an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and lounge areas. You'll have electric cooking, a dishwasher, washing machine, and a smart TV. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. One car parks on site. One dog stays free.
The cabin is yours alone for the duration of your stay. No smoking inside. Check-in is after 4pm and checkout before 10am.

Beautiful and quiet setting. There were works being done to some paths but it would benefit from proper paving throughout.

We had a fantastic time you couldn't ask for anything else home from home all clean and tidy in and around the caravan

I spent some time at Holly's Retreat in March, because I needed peace and quiet to finish a uni assignment. Perfect choice! So relaxing. The lodge had everything I needed and once the heating was on, it felt plenty warm enough. The flame effect fire was super cosy, especially once it started getting dark outside. The sun shone in to the living area during the day and the whole lodge is very bright and airy. The view was incredible and I loved watching the foxes and magpies play in the field out front. The location sets this lodge apart from the rest. It's off the beaten track. I spent hours looking out at the fields and woodland, and saw plenty of wildlife. It was dark enough at night to be able to see the stars, too. A genuine retreat; comfortable and away from everything.

Lovely, peaceful place to stay. Our cabin had a hot tub which was lovely and overlooked a field with wild foxes and rabbits in it. Not really a place for children but ideal for peace and relaxation as a base for a holiday x
