The property itself has 12 en-suite rooms, including family rooms, with drinks provided and mountain views from parts of the building. A home-cooked breakfast is served each morning, and guests have access to a garden, outdoor seating and a picnic area for enjoying the setting. A kitchen, laundry service, luggage storage and free WiFi are also on hand, along with 24 hour reception for flexible arrivals and departures.
Free parking is available nearby, useful given Keswick's town centre restrictions. With only a small number of guest ratings so far, Berkeley House is best suited to those after a straightforward, comfortable stay close to the outdoors rather than a polished hotel experience.

We are staying here as a whole place rental. The position in Keswick is brilliant close enough to the town to get essentials but car enough to be quiet. It is close to the ferries so movement around the lake is also good. It has been finished to a great standard and is very comfy. There is 10 of us staying and there is plenty of space around the table at meal times. The only downside and I would have dropped it only 1/2 a star is that we were staying in the back bedroom, room 2 and main room doesn't have any sockets, there is no Wi-Fi reception in the room and the lights in the single bed room aren't bright enough. Other than that it's an awesome place and would deffinately come again.
