Absolutely stunning hotel with equally gorgeous views. The staff here were incredibly kind and helpful. The outdoor seating area has a wonderful view and is a great place to enjoy some drinks. The breakfast and dinner both were fantastic. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the sunset each night. Great dog friendly stay - we would absolutely stay again!

What can you say about a hotel. plenty. I’ll try to be succinct. The hotel was fabulous in every way. We thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed our stay of 4 nights so much so that on arriving home we immediately booked again to stay in May 2026. The staff were superb and nothing was trouble for them , l refer to Nikita, Alison, Emma the new lady,Natham, Valda, Emily, Rachel and Martha in no order bur all were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb and the waitress service was greatly appreciated. The room was good and the double bed was very comfortable we can’t fault the manor except to say that the evening meals were very expensive. Very satisfied customers, Joy and Chris Parker

Had the most incredible dinner this weekend while celebrating my wife's 30th Birthday 🎂 Food was absolutely incredible, highly recommend the goats cheese !! Mains..stunning the Masala and the duck where stellar, the Jue with the duck was 👌 and the puddings delicious !!! Beautiful setting with the Lake District hills as we sat on the terrace enjoying the sun set. The service also amazing 👏 The gentlemen behind the bar (didnt catch his name) but he had a pony tail was top class...cant wait to return

5* stay with our dog Henry who was welcomed and made to feel at home from our arrival. What an amazing place and super dog friendly, with a dog wash, onside dog bin, towels and treats. All the small well though extras that make it a wonderful place to stay with your furry friend. For humans, a wonderful location with wonderful food and friendly service. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it and felt vwry relaxed during our stay. There is no lift and parking is a little limited, but id you have good mobility i would let that put you off. The bed was sooo comfy and the views amazing. Would highly ecommend and defo be back. Would love to go back in summer to enjoy the garden and maybe meet the local red squirrel.
