About Hawthorn House Hotel

A converted coach house standing alongside the original redbrick Victorian building gives Hawthorn House Hotel two distinct types of room to choose from, all set in Kettering, Northamptonshire. It's an adults-only property, which keeps things quiet, and every room comes with an en-suite bathroom and drinks provided, along with free WiFi throughout.

Breakfast is served each morning, and reception operates around the clock, so arrival times are flexible. Free on-site parking is available, useful given the property's location outside the town centre, and a pub, restaurant and other eateries can all be found nearby, along with a golf course and local entertainment options.

Wicksteed Park and Rockingham Castle are both within reach for a day out, making Hawthorn House Hotel a practical base for exploring Northamptonshire, whether for a short stay or something longer. The mix of period character in the main house and more modern rooms in the coach house means there's a genuine choice on offer.

This is an excellent hotel. The owners are wonderful and can not do enough to help. The breakfast is an absolute hoot and whatever you want. Having breakfast in the breakfast room with the ornaments and the radio on too me right back to my young self and a peaceful time. Bedroom was great, bed is really comfy, WiFi is great, steady and fast. Off road parking was a bonus. Nothing at all to complain about and I will definitely stay there again when I go there.

The room was very cosy, with a memory foam mattress making the bed incredibly comfy too. Very friendly and put me at ease straight away. The breakfast in the morning was incredible - full English with orange juice and tea was the perfect way to start the day. If i am needing a hotel here again, this would be my first choice.

The hotel is close to the city centre and close to many amenities. The rooms are spacious and have everything you may need for a short or long stay. The service is outstanding, the staff is super nice and welcoming. The breakfast is complementary for sleeping guests, and it's really good both in quantity and quality. I stayed there two times and really enjoyed it, it will be my hotel of choice whenever I need to stay overnight in that area. Highly recommend! :)

We had a lovely stay at Hawthorne House. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The mother and daughter who run the hotel are absolutely lovely and nothing is any trouble to them. The breakfast was also excellent and plenty of it. The hotel is ideally placed for both the town centre and Wicksteed Park.
