Isham is a village in the heart of North Northamptonshire, surrounded by countryside but close enough to market towns and leisure destinations for a varied break. Rectory Cottage sits here as a self-contained property for two, attached to the owners' home but with its own entrance and complete privacy.
The cottage is spread over two floors. Downstairs holds a living and dining room with a Smart TV, a kitchen with a gas cooker and washing machine for doing laundry, and a shower room. Upstairs is a bedroom with a kingsize bed. The essentials are covered: wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. There is parking for one car on site, and a pub is within a mile's walk. Smoking is not permitted.
The village itself has historic architecture worth exploring on foot, and quiet lanes lead into the surrounding farmland. Kettering and Wellingborough are short drives away, as is Rushden Lakes with its shops, restaurants and cinema. Stanwick Lakes and Chester House Estate offer countryside walking. Northampton city centre is accessible for a day out. The location works equally well for a couple wanting rural peace or a base to explore what the county has to offer.
