Stayed for 2 nights in the Crannog cabin. Good spacious well equipped clean cabin. Nice view over loch tach from the balcony. Good location for exploring. The heating is by electric wall panels so may be chilly when you 1st arrive, it soon warms up. Hot water is by emersion heater, you have to press a button 3 times a day. A steep walk up the hill back from the restaurant as the cabin is in the middle of the park, the rubbish bins are located at the top by the entrance. Wifi not the best but it is a rural location free to use in the cabin, if you connect to the site wifi it's chargeable. Nearest store is the coop in Killin so bring plenty of supplies if staying for a while.

We stayed in a glamping pod. Booking just a day in advance was no problem, and the staff were very friendly. The pod was exactly as described and very clean. The bathroom lacked shelves and a few hooks—which would have been useful—and the kitchen could have been slightly better equipped. Nevertheless, we highly recommend it and would definitely book again.

Wow amazing! We went in early to mid august 2025 in the lodge ‘Ben Lawers’,a 3 bed (2 bedroom) lodge with excellent views of the loch, for a week. It’s location is absolutely amazing, it’s basically in the middle of the highlands- you’re an hour and a half away from fort William, you’re next to a loch you can do many activities with, you can get to Edinburgh and Glasgow fast if you want to, Aviemore is 2 hours away, it’s amazing! Only negative I have to say is under the sofa, next to the TV is a metal thing, and on the 5th night of out stay I cut my foot on it. No clue why it’s there but the sofa could be over a little bit more to cover it and I’m sure it’s a problem in other cabins in the resort. Anyway, it’s amazing and not affordable, but great for value (~£1000 for 7 days) which I think is amazing. I live in Cornwall and it could be a lot higher price than that for 5 days! The kitchen is relatively bad and the food we had cooked using that kitchen wasn’t that great, but it’s edible, and way better than the boathouse that’s sometimes full of wasps next to our cottage. My photos show the other rooms.

I’d like to send my utmost gratitude to the ladies at reception who found myself and my husband other accommodation on the site. The lodge was beautiful, warm, clean, all facilities; fitted kitchen, lounge with fire, dining table, newly fitted bathroom with bath and overhead shower and 2 double bedrooms. The views of loch Tay from our windows and our outside decking were beautiful, our stay would have been very different if it hadn’t been for these lovely ladies and the onsite groundsman who escorted us to our accommodation and to collect keys etc. we had an additional cost to upgrade on top of what my son paid but well worth it. I am so grateful to you both and for other (more suitable) accommodation being available, otherwise expect my review may have been different. our initial accommodation was one of the small camping pod with shared facilities which wasn’t fit for purpose ( in my opinion). booked through Booking.com, the pod included boards with plastic mattresses on top, was dark, cold with very dim lighting, other light wasn’t working, no beds made up nor instructions on how to covert to a double bed( if you’d call it that) with some spiders for company waiting in the corners. Not for me I’m afraid! I’ve stayed before in the pods and they were lovely, all facilities and proper double beds but shared camping pods are not for me. Needless to say, I’ll be checking any future bookings my son makes for us but the description was rather misleading, perhaps Booking.com could be clearer on what to expect. Despite that, we ended up with a lovely lodge and really enjoyed our stay!
