Crianlarich Retreats - Otter’s Holt

Otter's Holt is a circular timber cottage with a living grass roof, built into the bank of the River Lochay just outside Killin. The entire ground floor opens as one flowing space: a sitting area with Freeview TV, a dining zone, and a kitchen equipped for real cooking—electric hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine. Large windows face the river. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms: one with a double bed and ensuite shower, the other with two singles and a bath. Underfloor heating runs through the property, and wifi is included. The back garden holds a four-person hot tub positioned to catch the water views, plus a terrace for sitting out. Space for two cars.

Killin is within walking distance, with cafés, pubs and the Falls of Dochart at its centre. Loch Tay lies nearby for kayaking, paddleboarding and shoreline walks. The cottage suits couples or small families wanting a retreat with some design character and the comfort of modern heating. No smoking inside.
