Coastguard’s Cottage

Coastguard's Cottage opens straight into a living room with dual multi-fuel burners, a 32" TV and French doors that lead onto the garden. The kitchen and dining area sit on the same floor, equipped for real cooking with an electric range, dishwasher and full fridge. Beyond this, you'll find a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, shower and separate toilet. The garden itself is enclosed and lawned, with a patio, furniture and a barbecue; note there are two steps down from the house to the garden level.

Bedrooms are spread across the first and second floors. Two singles are upstairs along with a double, a family bathroom with bath and toilet. The fourth bedroom—a kingsize—sits on the top floor. The cottage sleeps six and welcomes one pet at no extra cost. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, plus coal for the burners. A travel cot, high chair and stairgate are available if you need them. Non-smoking throughout.

The location is less than a mile from the coast in one of Norfolk's established villages. East towards Wells-next-the-Sea brings narrow-gauge railway, a busy quay and working fishing harbours; Holkham beach stretches for miles. Head west and Hunstanton offers its Sea Life Centre and traditional seaside amusement. Blakeney Quay is close for crabbing and seal-watching boat trips. On-site car parking means you're settled as soon as you arrive.
