A mixed bag. Felt a bit of an inconvenience on arrival. It appeared we didn't need to check in. Would be helpful if this was made clearer on the booking confirmation email. We were the only ones on site for the duration of our stay so was lovely and quiet, no complaints there! We could see there's plenty of room between pitches which is nice. The facilities are located in a barn. They hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival and not during our 3 night stay. The whole area needs a good deep clean and in particular the toilets plud a bit of tlc. Flaking paint, dirty floors etc. Thankfully the showers were of decent pressure and temperature and had heaters as the toilets were absolutely freezing as was the barn obviously. And for goodness sake get a new mop or at least stick it in the wash. Went to mop the shower as requested and made it worse! We've now moved on to another site with a heated amenity block which feels like a real luxury! Not sure if we'd return but handy location so maybe.

We stayed in Elsa the pod, absolutely amazing, spotlessly clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Very well thought out. Lovely little cafe on site, we used both mornings, quality ingredients plus a little bar. Quite central to areas that we wanted to visit, with Wells next Sea just a few miles away. Very friendly staff, very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble, would definitely recommend and we will be staying again.
