About DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds City Centre

DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds City Centre occupies a modern building overlooking the canal basin at Granary Wharf, immediately behind the railway station and a short stroll from City Square. Its position on the water gives it a quieter feel than hotels facing directly onto the busier city centre streets, while keeping everything in walking distance.

Rooms are finished in a contemporary style, with bold murals and neutral tones typical of the DoubleTree brand, and the hotel benefits from the Hilton group's consistent service standards alongside a genuinely distinctive waterside setting.

Granary Wharf itself has developed into a small food and market quarter under the railway arches, giving guests plenty to explore without leaving the immediate area, while the canal towpath offers an easy, flat walk into the wider city.

Clean hotel with great location, with the arches and tunnels to the station to the right of the hotel , a two minute walk. Friendly staff and definitely listen to requests for rooms as I requested and got given a high up room with canal views. Quiet room. Clean and fresh decor, bathrooms nice and clean with a good shower. Very reasonable priced room. The sky lounge bar is on the 13th, top floor but is quite expensive but offer Great views of the city. I was also able to check in earlier as my room was ready by 11:30! Which was great as we didn't need to hang around til 3.

Lovely location near canal. Right next to train lines too but unable to hear them from rooms. Overnight parking is available in a specific section of Granary Wharf, but is not free and is expensive at around £24. Very convenient for hotel though. Breakfast was great. Plenty of choice and nice and hot. Room was clean and comfortable and I was pleased about the usb and plug sockets on bedside tables which is often missing from other hotel rooms.

Had a brilliant stay at the Doubletree Leeds with my husband this weekend. Great location - a short walk to Leeds Station. A warm and friendly welcome and upgraded to a suite with Gold status. Suite was huge and really comfortable - great view of the whole of Leeds from the window. Also visited the SkyBar which was a great place to have drinks with friends and enjoy the sunshine. Breakfast was really good too. Will absolutely return and recommend!

Fantastic value when it’s not fully booked up. The location is great and the views are beautiful. Some other reviewers have complained about the noise but I had no issues with noise. I was given a 2 hour extra late checkout which I appreciated, as well as 2 drinks vouchers to use in the bar. There was no room upgrade offered, but considering I booked at 10pm and checked in straight after I can’t complain at all. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient. The room was well appointed and clean, and I really appreciated the extra HDMI connection. Compared to the Leeds Hilton, the TV didn’t have any smart features, but otherwise it was fine. The design of the room felt more modern, though the bathroom was much more bare-bones. The breakfast was better than average for UK Hiltons, with some extra interesting items like Baby-bells and a great range of pastries. I was looking forward to going to the Sky Bar but it opened at 5pm which I felt was quite late. The gym seemed basic but it was fine for a quick pump. Overall, I recommend this over the regular Hilton, and will be staying again.
