About Quebecs Hotel

Quebecs Hotel occupies a striking Grade II listed building on Quebec Street, originally constructed in 1891 as the Leeds and County Liberal Club and recognised by the Leeds Civic Trust for its distinctive terracotta brickwork. It is the only independently owned luxury hotel in central Leeds, a status reflected in the level of individual character across its 44 rooms and suites.

Rooms are split across Club, Deluxe, Executive and Suite categories, each retaining period features alongside modern comforts, and the hotel's central position just off City Square puts the railway station, the main shopping streets and the Victorian arcades all within a few minutes' walk.

Being independently run rather than part of a chain gives Quebecs a more personal feel than many of its immediate competitors, and it has built a loyal following among repeat business and leisure visitors who prefer its historic character to the newer developments nearby.

Nice newer hotel with larger room and at least my room had a redesigned bathroom. Had a stink in my room that the staff tried to remove. I applaud the effort at least. Close to the train station with a nice french restaurant downstairs. 1st floor had a common area to use for those guests which also was quite new or redone recently

Had a fantastic midweek stay at Quebecs. Receptionist upgraded our room (out of the blue). All staff, including in the bar, were friendly and welcoming. Room was big, bed was comfy and bathroom was absolutely spotless. Great shower (excellent water pressure) with L'Occitane products. Receptionist was happy to take our bags after we checked out so we didn't need to lug them around Leeds in the morning. Will definitely book again.

A fantastic listed building with winding corridors. Room I stayed in was large, clean and well appointed. Extra marks for providing Taylors coffee bags! Breakfast, however, was extra and probably not really worth it given plenty of nearby alternatives. Breakfast is served a long way away from the kitchens and so available variety was limited without having to ask for things.

Couldn't have been happier with our stay. The staff really took care of us an ensured our visit to Leeds was really fun and comfortable. The central location made exploring the city centre really easy and convenient. Definitely want to return.
