About The Met Hotel Leeds
Leeds city centre puts shopping, entertainment and transport links within easy reach, and on King Street stands The Met Hotel, a 120-room base that has been recently refurbished throughout. Rooms come with comfortable furnishings and strong showers, though some are on the compact side despite how they're pictured, so it's worth bearing that in mind when booking.
Breakfast is a particular strength here, with a good spread to set guests up for the day, and there's a restaurant and bar on site for the rest of the time, alongside room service for anyone who'd rather not leave their room. The hotel also has a gym and a spa with sauna, plus meeting rooms and business facilities for those travelling with work in mind, and staff are consistently described as helpful and welcoming.
Pets are welcome, and practicalities like luggage storage, laundry service and concierge assistance are all covered, though there's no parking available at the property itself. With pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby, and the city centre location doing much of the legwork, this is a straightforward option for exploring Leeds on foot.
What guests say
Fantastic hotel near to the station in Leeds. Completely renovated, really lovely and modern. We visited on a warm weekend and were so happy with the excellent air-con. The bed was comfortable and the shower was large, with nice Olive soap, shampoo and conditioner. There was a free mini-bar with water and snacks. The breakfast was excellent! Full hot English breakfast, fresh pastries and breads, yoghurt, fruit and cereal. Kind staff. Nice decor. Really reasonably priced

Fabulous overnight stay in Leeds at this amazing hotel. Everything was fabulous. The rooms are decorated and designed to a very high standard. The service was friendly and professional. The food in the hotel was very good . I booked via secret escape and we had a complementary bottle of procceco in our room and it also included late check out and breakfast. It’s only 5 min walk from the train station but we parked at the hotel which was really convenient, it’s £20 to park and the lady on the reception confirmed on route that there would be a space for us. We will be returning in the very near future that’s for certain.

Just perfect! Wonderful staff and quick smooth check in and check out. Sai was wonderful and provided a lovely personal welcome. Beautiful room with the biggest bathtub I’ve ever been in. If you’re coming to Leeds definitely stay here! Perfect location too and the refurb looks truly amazing! Can’t wait to return.

We had a fantastic stay at The Met Hotel Leeds and would happily return. Before booking, I was a bit concerned about parking, but there was plenty of space available when we arrived (it is chargeable, but very convenient). I also called reception beforehand with a few questions and found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful, which set a great first impression. Check-in was seamless and very welcoming. There was a party taking place during our stay, but rather than being a downside, it actually added to the lively Friday night atmosphere. We stayed in a suite, which was beautifully designed and offered plenty of space—perfect for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The room itself felt well thought-out, and we especially loved the products provided. Breakfast the next morning was another highlight, with attentive service and a good variety of options to choose from. The only minor point to note is that there was a bit of noise from the street, so light sleepers may want to keep that in mind. That said, the hotel’s location is excellent—very close to the city centre, making it ideal for exploring Leeds. Overall, a really enjoyable stay with great service, stylish rooms, and a vibrant atmosphere.
