About Premier Inn Leicester City Centre
St Georges Way puts Premier Inn Leicester City Centre right where the city gets busy, with the railway station and Curve Theatre both within easy reach and Leicester's shops and sights just a short walk beyond. Rising over 20 floors, it's a hard building to miss and a handy base for exploring on foot.
Inside are 176 rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and drinks available, plus accessible rooms for those who need them. A lift serves all floors, and the 24 hour reception means arrival times aren't an issue. It's worth noting that some rooms show their wear, so it's not the place for anyone expecting pristine finishes throughout.
The on-site restaurant serves breakfast and evening meals, with meal deals that offer decent value, and staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful. Chargeable parking is available on-site, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and a golf course, entertainment venues and a pub or bar can all be found nearby. Prices range from £39 to £150 depending on dates.
What guests say
The location is great, it's a few minutes from the train station. My room was spacious, the air conditioning was a life saver. I ate at the hotel for dinner and the food was great - the desserts were delicious and the mains were good, classic dishes. The staff were friendly and really helpful, and were able to answer slightly unusual questions like "where can I get a hot water bottle around here". They took all the stress out of my stay and I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work. There are two tiny things that stopped this being a 5-star review. The first was that on Saturday night, there seemed to only be one staff member on duty. They had to both work at the front desk and the restaurant, so I had to go to the front desk to ask to pay the food bill. I'm sure this isn't the staff member's fault, but during the week we had a dedicated staff member in the restaurant in the evening. Surely Saturday will be busier than the week, so it seemed a bit illogical. The second is the lifts. There are two lifts but for fire safety reasons, they act completely separately. So if you press the button to call one lift, only that lift will respond. If that lift is going up and you want to go down, be prepared to wait. I was close enough to the ground floor that taking the stairs was probably very healthy, but if I'm tired, I shouldn't have to wait forever for a lift. I understand this is probably unavoidable for safety reasons, but maybe a third lift could ease the strain. All in all, those two minor issues were slightly annoying, but didn't get in the way of a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is in an excellent location, and the staff truly make the experience exceptional. A special mention goes to Paula at breakfast, who is always welcoming, highly organised, and incredibly helpful. Her friendly and professional approach consistently ensures that guests feel well looked after. The outstanding service provided by the team is a real credit to the hotel, and we would happily recommend it to others.

Wonderful stay came to see a show with friends had a nice big room with a view from the 12th floor. A special mention to Sabrina from check in to eating in the restaurant, she was an absolute diamond even sorted other issues out for us in the room. She made us all feel welcomed and cared for. We will stay here again and hope she is still there. Food was good the ravioli was nice maybe needs less oil though.

I have not received the room yet but the process to book it in person is ridiculous. You should be able to book a room without an email or phone number. And just money. It makes no sense and if there’s staff present and a room free then I should be able to stay in said room no matter the time. For an allocated time. It is nothing to do with the local staff only an admin corporate problem with the company as a whole.
