What visitors say
A fairly new member of the RSPB and this came as a place to visit as it's only open certain times of the month and the year. So booked up online and very reasonable prices too for a two and a half hour trip on a boat to there all included i think its extremely good value for money . Get to go in all the hides and the volunteers tell you what sort of birds are there and very helpful plus a visit to the onsite cafe and prices there very reasonable as well . Definitely worth the visit i highly recommend it i definitely go back.

If you donate your money is wasted. Phoned up about an injured animal was in queue on phone for over 30 mins ( no problem) but then was told that if the animal was still there and injured tomorrow to phone back and they will collect. The poor thing had a limb hanging off.

A fascinating RSPB reserve, almost totally isolated from the outside world. Access is by ferry, by prior arrangement. It's definitely out the way, but this works in it's favour, the birds not being disturbed by humans. Facilities are of course, very limited.
