Tucked into rolling farmland just outside Chailey, Townings Farm is a tiny pop-up site offering sweeping views over the South Downs and direct access to Chailey Common Local Nature Reserve. The handful of spacious, fully serviced pitches come with electric and water hook-ups, perfect for motorhomes and campervans, and the farm setting means birdsong at dawn and vibrant sunsets across the downs. There's a modern shower block in the farmyard, though it's a short walk from the pitches, so onboard facilities are recommended for comfort.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on leads, and you can explore rare heathland right from the field or head into the South Downs National Park, 20 minutes away. Raised barbecues are allowed, but open fires aren't permitted due to fire risk. A peaceful, adults-only escape for those after fresh air and big skies.
