Best 2 hour tour have ever done, Ryan and Jackie were simply brilliant. Not a tour for people who don't like steps. But such an interestimg and varied experience. From art deco artwork, to massive fans, to throwing stones through holes into the old dock, being inches away from running traffic this tour has so much too it. For £14 its a bargin and if you are in Liverpool its a must do.

I've been meaning to go on this tour for years and I wasn't disappointed. Being local, I have used the tunnel thousands of times over the years and never really understood the logistics and engineering that has gone into creating and maintaining such an engineering masterpiece. The tour took us up into the exhaust tower on the Pier Head, all the way down to the road level. We saw the control room, the huge fans that pulled out all the exhaust gases and the massive refuge area under the road. We even got the opportunity to stand on the edge of the road as the traffic whizzed by. There's loads of photo opportunities and Phil and Barbara were amazing guides with so much knowledge, even with a bit of humour thrown in too. 10/10 would go again. Don't forget your comfortable shoes as there's a lot of steps and walking, though!

Absolutely wonderful tour. The guides really knew the history of the tunnels, and were passionate about the engineering and architecture. Got a really good workout with all the stairs also. Would recommend this to anyone interested in history and technology.
