We stayed here for the My Chemical Romance gig at Anfield and the stay couldn't have been better. We were here for 3 nights. The staff were excellent and very friendly, the 24/7 pizza was a great touch and reasonably priced. The location is fantastic if you are planning on exploring the city, so many nice places to eat and shop on your doorstep. The room was spotless and the view from the 8th floor was brilliant, my beloved Liver Building. The facilities in the room were very impressive, microwave, fridge, dishes and a dishwasher. The waterfall shower in the bathroom was tremendous with the heat and pressure. The TV isn't a traditional smart TV, it has a built in Chromecast which is very easy to use and saves you from having to login to all your apps. In all, perfect. Well done guys will happily stay again.

Absolutely loved my stay at StayCity. I have stayed in many hotels in Liverpool and this is by far the best experience I have had. Staff were very welcoming and very clear on instructions, the room had so much kitchen facilities (fridge, microwave, hob) and the room was spotless. It is in a great location too being so close to the Albert Dock and James Street train station. They even keep the bar open until 3am on weekdays, a very pleasurable experience and I am excited to stay there again.

This place is back off the main thoroughfare. Use your maps on your phone and you'll find it. Having a dishwasher and a limited number of cutlery and crockery means that you either handwash the dishes or run the dishwasher daily. Perhaps a few extra plates and teaspoons, or extra dishwasher tablets would be good for less prepared people? Small Tesco express type grocery stores are just around the corner. Bed is comfy, everything was very clean. Staff friendly and welcoming. The bar and restaurant seems underutilised, but perhaps it's because there are so many alternatives on the doorstep. We were delighted to be able to see the Royal Liver building from our window.

Absolutely unforgettable stay. Got a free room upgrade and the staff were brilliant. So kind and helpful, with a big smile on their faces no matter the time. Best night sleep I've had in a long time in that bed. So comfy. And can't complain with 24 hour pizza and service. I will be back 100%
