About Chateau julie

Chateau Julie is a small B&B with just three rooms, set on Craven Lea in Liverpool close to Croxteth Country Park, so mornings here tend to mean parkland walks and gardens rather than city bustle. It suits guests after a quieter base with the city itself still within easy reach.

Rooms are simple and few in number, which keeps the place feeling more like a personal stay than a hotel. Breakfast is included, and there's a garden with outdoor seating to sit out in when the weather allows. Free WiFi runs throughout, and practical extras include luggage storage, 24 hour reception, an electric vehicle charge point and free on-site parking. Pets are welcome, so travelling with a dog isn't a problem.

Around Chateau Julie there's a pub or bar, a restaurant, and other eateries nearby, along with a golf course and entertainment options for those wanting more than a walk in the park. It's a straightforward, well-placed option for anyone wanting Liverpool without staying right in the centre of it.

Just a lovely place to stay! The hosts really looked after us, great to talk to and the rooms are superb! We tour around the UK and this place was perfect to put our head down for the night. Warm, cosy, great facilities and two of the cutest dogs we have ever seen, we will be booking again!

Excellent B&B the place was spotlessly clean and very fresh. The owner was very helpful and polite which goes a long way. Any time I or we are in Liverpool will book here as it is nice and quiet. Have also recommended my employer for future bookings. Well done lovely place.

More of a temporary house share - very unfair (to real B&B's) to call it a Bed and Breakfast. No personal contact with main host at all. 'Breakfast' consisted of help yourself from three opened cereal boxes and half a sliced loaf. Milk (no juice) in a small fridge. No dining area. Not good value for money (saw three star hotels in City at lower prices) and not convenient as a base to visit Liverpool unless you have your own transport. Disappointed

Honestly the worst place I've ever booked. I would say stayed but, I actually ended up leaving when I saw the room. I wasn't expecting too much with the price being so good but, the place was shocking. The bed was pretty much a mattress on the floor. The free breakfast was actually cereal in the cupboard of a dirty kitchen. We paid for a room with a private bathroom to be told that wasn't available, after we arrived. They wouldn't let us check-in until half past 9 because the booking was only made the day before arrival. After all of that, we were told that they don't deal with the refunds.
