About Best Western Premier Knowsley Suites Hotel & Spa

Knowsley, on the edge of Liverpool, is where you'll find the Best Western Premier Knowsley Suites Hotel & Spa, a 96-room property built around suite-style accommodation rather than standard hotel rooms. Rooms are described as spacious and well kept, though some are a little dated in decor, so this suits guests after room and comfort over polish.

The spa is a genuine draw, with an indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room alongside a gym for those wanting to keep active. Guests can eat at the on-site restaurant or bar, start the day with breakfast, and make use of room service and laundry facilities. There's also a garden, meeting rooms and a wedding venue setup, making it a flexible base for events as well as overnight stays.

Free on-site parking makes arriving by car straightforward, and the surrounding area has pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby for evenings out. Staff are consistently noted as friendly and helpful, and the hotel is generally considered good value for money.

Enjoyed an overnight stay here with the family. Indoor facilities like pool, sauna and jacuzzi were good. The steam room was faulty. The hotel staff made us feel welcome. The bar stays late, so if you want to grab water late in the night, they can make provision for that 😁. Price was competitive with easy access to most parts of Liverpool. Comes recommended. Coffee could be better though 😋

The location is hard to review, a quick google maps search, shows exactly where it is, yes it’s isolated but it was a short drive to where we needed to be, so not an issue for us. Good points, Staff, all were helpful and polite. Pool, my 10 year old loved it. There was an issue with the electronic locks to get in, reception staff helpful and attended straight away using pass keys. Breakfast, good, plentiful. Issue. Rooms. We were in 103. There is a lounge area and a large bedroom. The lounge had a sofa bed already made up. The lounge has no natural light and as a bulb was out quite dark. The room was very tired and dated. Lots of stains on the carpet. Cupboard for fridge but no fridge. Bedroom, wardrobe doors not fitting. Bed ok. Bathroom, clean but trims missing and overdue refit. The sofa bed was shocking. I didn’t check it until 9:30 when my lad went to bed. After 10 mins he came to us complaining it was uncomfortable. He stayed with mum and I used the sofa. The mattress was akin to a BBQ grill. I had to sleep on top of the duvet. But by 4 am I was at reception asking for another duvet as still not comfortable. Night staff good and obliged, stated bed was for kids , but sadly it was not fit for purpose. Sadly definitely not a 4 star.

Fantastic hotel! All rooms are suites. Very attentive female receptionist on arrival, noticed additional need without having to explain, also very helpful when I needed to know something about the locality. Once I'd been in my suite for 15-30 minutes I received a call on the bedroom phone from the lovely reception lady checking if everything was to my satisfaction and if I needed anything else - I didn't but appreciated the gesture, and felt it set Best Western Suites and Spa above other hotels I've stayed in (including a 4* Hilton where my experience was nowhere near as good!) The suite itself was lovely: very clean neat and tidy, nice super king sized comfy bed, large double wardrobe with drawer unit and vanity areas as well as a wall mounted tv. The remote was missing but a quick trip to reception rectified that so not a big issue. The lounge area was spacious with ample seating, desk space and separate table, concealed from the corridor with privacy curtains. Bathroom was nice too - bath with overhead shower, toilet and sink with vanity unit I had a self service buffet style hot breakfast and a small pastry with a couple of cups of hot chocolate. Everything was nice and hot. Replenishment staff/waitresses were pleasant. The only slight downsides I found were a) there was only 1 disabled space near the entrance that i could see, and it was standard sized rather than slightly larger, which is more usual, and b) it is located basically on the edge of an industrial type estate I didn't try the spa or leisure facilities while I was there as I only stayed one night and had lots to fit in, but I decibel would schedule this in for my next stay! I'd definitely stay here again if and when I'm in the area, without hesitation!

Me and my Now Wife got married on 27/06/2026, and to the build up we had the privilege of working with Margaret who was absolutely amazing, never missed a single detail, made us feel like royalty! and kepts the guests in check haha! room, service, food, timing, everything was above and beyond out expectations!! highly recommend any event to be held here, dont listen to the negatives about what happened after the protests, Best Western have revived the suites entirely! Also a massive shoutout to Lois, Connor and Matthew as their contribution to the wedding night should not go un noticed they where extremely patient, helpful and had service with a smile even with all of the party goers being pains! fantastic team!! Love from Bradley and Alexandra Walsh.
