About Travelodge Liverpool Stonedale Park

An on-site restaurant and the option of drinks in your room make Travelodge Liverpool Stonedale Park a straightforward base for food as well as sleep, with a pizza eatery and other bars and restaurants close by if you fancy a change of scene. The hotel sits near the M57, so it's easy to reach whether you're driving in or heading out towards the city centre.

The 66 rooms are clean and modern, each with an en-suite bathroom, and accessible rooms are available for those who need them. The building has three floors served by a lift, and reception is staffed around the clock. Free on-site parking is provided, though space is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for those who need it. Pets are welcome, which is handy for guests travelling with animals.

Staff are consistently described as helpful and friendly, and the location gives quick access to local amenities including a nearby golf course and entertainment options. Some guests have noted that traffic noise from the main road can be noticeable, so a room away from the front may suit light sleepers better.

Room was clean and basic. No plug sockets near the bed. There were 2 usb sockets but didn't work. The bath was a bit on the small side. Staff were excellent can't praise them enough. Outside the hotel was a little noisey. Small cafe attached to the building did great breakfasts and you get 10% off for staying in the hotel. Surrounded by fast food restaurants.

Disgusting. I had to clean stuff myself. Only 1 staff member on site and never at desk. Constant slam of doors from scummy van driving tradesman. Including at 5am. Window seals are all failed so you can hear 3 floors down. Dont even think for coming here. You will get no sleep. Just loads of trash.

We stayed here ahead of a Liverpool FC match and found it very useful for a base. Only a 10 minute drive to Anfield which is accessible via taxi. Getting back is trickier - we walked to Goodison Park and got a taxi from there (note more traffic means less taxi drivers!) It is located in an area surrounded by retail, fast food and leisure places so lots to do especially if you have kids. Parking is available outside of the hotel however it isn’t guaranteed due to the other places on site. We had to call to get someone down to reception to check us in, after the sign said ‘We will be back in a minute’ - we waited for 5-10 minutes before another person staying advised us to ring. However, the lady was friendly. The room was fine - we had a family room for three beds. Basic comfort but clean. The bathroom could have done with some TLC but lots of places do. Noise wise everything was OK - as you are right by a main road you can hear a lot of the traffic.

Well where to start. The positives for us during our 2 night stay were it's location for what we wanted. Local amenities were very good with plenty of shops and places to eat. These included MCD's KFC Nandos Dominos. The outstanding one for us was Q's kitchen lovely English breakfast. Now the bad stuff. The breakfast in a box definitely not worth bothering with. You have to collect this yourself from reception which on occasion wasn't manned by anyone so had to wait. Although the room was of a generous size there is nowhere to put any of your clothes apart from a open hanging area. No draws or bedside furniture at all. Surely a fridge is a must in any hotel room as well. You can get an hairdryer from reception at no extra cost. Now to the worst of this hotels room, it's cleanliness which is diabolical to say the least. The bathroom was beyond a joke really the toilet roll holder was scruffy, the bath plug looked like it had never been cleaned since it was installed. The extractor fan was full of dust and probably never cleaned. The main double bed appeared to have no mattress cover so was stained 🤢🤢. The hotel definitely needs to look at the cleaning practices or lack of them. Surely the management should be doing daily inspections of random rooms to make sure they are cleaned properly. 2 night stay Room 304. This is not what we expected having recently stayed at the Travelodge at Wembley Central.
