We had a great two-night stay here and overall had a very positive experience. The highlight of our stay was the excellent customer service from the team. Every member of staff we met was friendly, helpful, and professional, providing a consistently high level of service. A special mention goes to Mark at reception and Caroline at the bar, who both made us feel very welcome and looked after us extremely well. We stayed in a family room, which was upgraded for us, and the team kindly arranged for our two rooms to be opposite each other, which was very convenient for our family. We also used the swimming pool and had breakfast in the restaurant, and the service in both areas was excellent. The hotel’s location is fantastic, and having ample onsite parking with a discounted rate for hotel guests was a advantage. There are a few areas where the hotel could be improved. The rooms are starting to feel a little dated, and we were surprised that there was no mini fridge in the room. For a family room for three guests, the complimentary drinks provided were only one can of still water and one can of sparkling water, which felt a little limited. That said, these points did not take away from an otherwise excellent stay. The outstanding staff, great location, family-friendly service, and convenient parking made our visit very enjoyable. We would happily consider staying here again when visiting Liverpool.

First impressions outside and of the newly refurbished lobby and bar/restaurant area are great. Unfortunately the rooms look dated in comparison. Asked for a quiet room, was kindly upgraded to a room overlookng the docks and Liver Bird building but unfortunately also a main road which was noisy through the night. Luckily was able to change to a room at the back eventually. Room was clean but tired with marks on desk, damaged side table, grouting in bathroom etc. Aircon is not full aircon as per the website but air handling which doesn't really cool the room down much. This does make a difference when it's hot! No fridge, got ice from the bar but they were struggling to keep up with demand during the heatwave. Restaurant & bar staff brilliant and food good and a wide menu. Reception staff more business like. Lounge area a great place to chill after a day out. Location fantastic on the docks and not far from most major attractions.

Nice hotel near Liverpool city centre in a great location The room was clean and spacious and well organized with usb charging ports quite strategicallyplaced. The bathroom is a bit small and very dated, still with the old bathtub. But the real problem with the room was the air conditioning which only had two fan settings: off or extremely loud and noisy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, especially the concierge at the entrance. The restaurant staff is fine, too bad the girl at the entrance for dinner who was uninformative and quite rude and one of the writers at breakfast which had also a poor English. The food and drink menu absolutely needs to be reviewed because those going on holiday to England want to have the opportunity to taste English food, but above all local English beers and other drinks. The chicken burger I ordered was very sad, cooked in a hurry, and for the price paid, it was also a very small portion.

Great location with friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms were spotless, the pool was lovely and clean, and the whole hotel was very well maintained. We stayed here to celebrate a birthday, and the extra touches the staff added for the occasion were phenomenal and made the stay feel really special. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about making our visit memorable. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a great location.
