About Delta Hotels Liverpool City Centre by Marriott

A solid six-floor block on One Queen Square, Delta Hotels Liverpool City Centre by Marriott houses 146 rooms designed with space in mind rather than novelty, so while the decor in some can feel a little dated, the rooms themselves are well proportioned and kept clean. All come with en-suite bathrooms, and family and accessible rooms are available for those who need them.

Breakfast is a genuine highlight, with a spread that runs from fresh fruit and cereals to omelets made to order, and there's a restaurant, bar and snack bar on site for the rest of the day, along with room service and drinks in room. Practical extras include a gym, business services and meeting rooms, free WiFi throughout, laundry service and luggage storage, plus lift access across all floors. Parking is available nearby for a fee rather than on site.

The location is the real draw: Lime Street station is within easy reach, and the city's theatres and waterfront are close enough to walk to. Pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues cluster nearby, and staff are on hand to help with directions and recommendations for making the most of central Liverpool.

Brilliant hotel—highly recommend! We had a wonderful stay at the Delta Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the city, as everything is just a short walk away. Our rooms were perfect—clean, modern, and very comfortable. We also ordered room service and it was very good, fast, and tasty. We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Liverpool!

As a lifetime Titanium member, I have become spoiled it seems with expectations of the Marriott brand. Although I like this hotel for its location and have stayed here before, I found a small disappointing thing that I simply can’t let go. The lobby offers beverages (water/soda), but not able to charge to the room. Seems like a simple pivot, but takes a basic expectation and makes it something different than a traditional Marriott experience. The staff member informed me it’s a newer change and did not even offer an option of going to the hotel bar to purchase a water to charge to the room, which makes me curious what level of customer support to meet expectations exist. Instead of a solution I am aware of, I was frustrated this was even a need to discuss. If you are a Marriott property, anything sold in your business should be an option of a room charge. This is a convenience issue for your guests as well as a business charge option for your business. Still a great hotel, but sad the basics of a hotel was overlooked for guests. Look forward to another Marriott option in Liverpool next visit to better support what I believe is a good brand even when places like this hotel fail to meet the expected minimum standard. Do better Delta Liverpool.

Really nice hotel, right in the city centre, however very tricky to drive to as its off a roubdabout which has a slip road which is very difficult to grasp using sat nav, we ended up going through a 1.5 mile tunnel and paid a toll to then come back through and round!!!!. Parking at Q park, offsite, then meant we had to leave the hotel parking to go park there (£16 instead of hotels £25), so required you to go back onto that roundabout. We mentioned to staff who knew of this common issue with their customers so they should have said beforehand or at least said we will pass this feedback along. You could offer cheaper parking perhaps or more comprehensive instructions when booking over the phone. Room was nice plug socket installed upside down so you couldnt tell if it was on or off or not. Bathroom grout in shower and around floor needs updating to make it feel fresher. Q park had issues with the ticket the hotel provided so that was a bit of a palava.

I’ve stayed at Delta Hotels Liverpool City Centre a couple of times now and keep coming back mainly for the location. It’s right by Lime Street station, close to buses for the match and everything in the city centre is within easy walking distance, which makes it really convenient. Some rooms have clearly been refurbished since my last visit and the staff feel like a nice upgrade too. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and welcoming. Special mention to Donna who made check in feel really personal and even remembered me at checkout to chat about the game, and Asha who was also friendly and helpful when I left. The rooms are comfortable, nothing fancy but perfectly fine for a short stay. Breakfast is a real highlight with a good selection of fresh fruit, cereals, eggs, juices and an egg station for made to order options. The breakfast team were consistently warm and welcoming. Overall a solid, reliable stay in a great location. I would happily stay again and recommend it.

Some reviews mention the rooms can be dated.
