About Eleanor Rigby apts Stanley Street

Stanley Street sits in the middle of Liverpool city centre, a short walk from the bars, restaurants and entertainment that fill this part of town, and Eleanor Rigby apts Stanley Street occupies a spot right on it. With just six apartments, it's a small, low-key base rather than a large hotel, aimed at people who want to come and go as they please while they explore the city.

Each apartment is self-catering, with its own kitchen and en-suite bathroom, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Drinks can be brought to the room, and there's free WiFi and luggage storage throughout, with a 24 hour reception on hand for arrivals at any time. The building has also been used as a wedding venue.

There's no parking on site, so anyone driving will need to plan for that separately. On the plus side, the location does the legwork: pubs, restaurants and a golf course are all nearby, and the city centre setting means most of Liverpool's attractions are within easy reach on foot.

Colm

These people are crooks/gangsters. Avoid. They steal money from guests. Lydia checked us in and told us we had to pay a £60 cash deposit on checking in, but we would receive it back on check out the following morning. She also provided me with a hand written receipt as evidence. When checking out, Lydia was not there, and it was Colin at the desk. I asked Colin for a refund of the deposit and he said they "never keep cash on site for security reasons". This contradicted what Lydia said. He asked me to write down my bank details in a book and said that the money would be transferred "first thing on Monday morning". He showed me the book, which seemed to contain page after page of bank account details. I reluctantly wrote down my bank details and the amount owed in the book. He then took a photograph of my receipt. 4 months later and still no refund. I have done some Googling. It is obvious that this is a fraudulent scheme undertaken regularly. There are dozens of people complaining about this scam on bookings dot com. I've reported the fraud to the police, but not expecting anything to come of it. Maybe if enough people report them though something will be done about these criminals.

Arrived for my stay in November. The only positive I found was, I presume the owner, the man letting us in made sure we were all accounted for as we came as a group of girls. The room had poor wifi connection after we were told it would work just fine. The cutlery was dirty and this seems to be a common theme as read in a previous review. The microwave and beds were unsanitary. My main problem was the demand of a £200 deposit that was mine to claim back if no damage was caused. It was been a month since, and their communication is poor and I have heard nothing back. I am extremely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Cosmetic Dolll

I encountered during my recent stay at your hotel on the 19th July 2025 at the Elenor Rigby Hotel. Specifically, I experienced the following serious issues: Silverfish in the Bed – I was extremely disturbed to find silverfish insects in the bed. This is a clear sign of poor cleanliness and pest control, and it made the sleeping conditions both uncomfortable and unsanitary. This mean we was unable to stay at our hotel. Damaged Walls – The room had multiple visible dents and holes in the walls, creating an overall appearance of neglect and lack of proper maintenance. Dirty Cutlery – The cutlery provided in the room was unclean and appeared to have not been properly washed, which is unacceptable in any hospitality setting. Upon arrival, I noticed the room was dusty and generally unclean. Surfaces had visible layers of dust, and the room appeared not to have been properly cleaned before my check-in. In addition, there was an overall mess that made the space feel neglected and unhygienic. This falls well below the standard I expected and made my stay uncomfortable. I urge you to review your cleaning procedures to ensure that future guests do not face the same issue. These conditions not only fell far short of the basic standards one would expect from a hotel but also raised serious concerns about hygiene and guest safety.

I recently stayed at this apartment while acting as the responsible adult for a 13-year-old’s birthday celebration, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were fantastic they made sure the kids could enjoy themselves while also being very strict about the rules, ensuring there was no inappropriate behaviour, which I really appreciated. It was one of the hottest days of the year, and the staff went above and beyond by regularly bringing us fans to help keep everyone comfortable. The night staff were especially respectful, always making sure I was present before entering the apartment, which made me feel reassured and respected. The apartments are also great if you’re planning a celebration. If you let them know what you’re celebrating in advance, they’re happy to accommodate and help make your stay special. Overall, the staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable time. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
