My partner and myself had a brilliant stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and it was in an excellent location (close to the train station, shopping centre, and local bars and restaurants). It was very quiet allowing for an undisturbed sleep. Couldn't recommend enough, great value for money

Central location within minutes of most tourist sites, main railway station and many bars and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff, although those waiting on the tables at breakfast seemed to be very busy and responsible for everything else at the same time. Room 101 was warm, clean and comfortable, with a nice bright modern en-suite bathroom (shower not bathtub), tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits. Some road traffic noise but acceptable given its city centre location.Very nice freshly cooked English breakfast with other options, served at the table. Excellent value for money, we'd stay here again. It's worth knowing that the hotel offers a discount for the multi storey car park immediately opposite.

Brilliant hotel ideal location for everything, we stayed overnight room was clean and had everything we needed very big room comfortable bed only downside is it could of done with a refresh on paintwork as walls were scuffed in places lovely shower plenty of towels .staff were absolutely fantastic couldn't do enough for you even got us a fan as it was 31 degrees that day , when we got back after a good night out we came back to watch England match staff got a table for us all near bar and TV screen and brought us our drinks brilliant end to the night .breakfast was absolutely amazing piping hot, well presented and cooked perfectly also had cold buffet selection which was also fresh .we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back as soon as we can thank you for a wonderful stay keep doing what you are doing and hopefully see you soon.

We didn’t stay we booked for the grand national breakfast and coach. Set up was nice. Glass of prosecco on arrival. Nice atmosphere. Breakfast was ok- nothing special but not terrible either. Did the job. Coach was prompt to arrive.
